That CX used to work in a kitchen in Georgia with Bonecrusher and hung out with Lil Jon before either one held a sampler or mic goes a long way toward explaining where he's coming from. Before crunk, CX cut wax frenetically. He has toured as a DJ for Antipop and now Saul Williams in between manning the boards for his debut release. The EP features tracks from CX's forthcoming Krak Attack full-length, and is a taste of the take-over to come. CX has welded rap, electro, punk, and more, like no-one before him and the results are devastating. Raw beats, rhymes, and collabos range from the collage-assault of 'HDKR Rule' (remixed by spaz-extraodinaire Otto van Schirach and then remixed again by CX himself) to the old-skool-new-skool routine of RAMM: ELL: ZEE's 'Tricky Dick' guest spot (one of several from the masked legend), and from the speed-thrash-core of 'Montecore's Revenge' to the dark Hip Hop narratives of 'Sky is My Roof' with Kong from the Monster Island Czars. Catch the aural skirmish of the EP before the all-out assault of the album coming Spring of 2006 from Sound-Ink.
