Vinyl LP pressing includes digital download. Formed in Haledon, NJ in 1976, The Feelies have released five albums to date including their critically acclaimed and influential 1990 debut Crazy Rhythms. The twin-guitar attack of songwriters and founders Glenn Mercer and Bill Million is the infectious sound of the group. Paired with driving drums and percussion, it has left an indelible mark on the landscape of rock and roll. Originally released in 1988, Only Life is the third album by the Feelies and their first with major label support. The album includes classic originals like "Deep Fascination" and "The Undertow" and a cover of the Velvet Underground's "What Goes On." Lou Reed took notice and took them on tour often performing with The Feelies on encores. The Feelies' third and fourth albums Only Life (1988) and Time for a Witness (1991) are being reissued on vinyl by Bar/None Records after being unavailable on the format for 25 years. Bonus download card with new acoustic recordings and live takes from their final shows at Maxwells in Hoboken. Only Life also includes liner notes by Rick Moody (The Ice Storm, Garden State).
