Limited vinyl LP pressing. Remastered by Scott Anthony and lacquers cut by Bob Weston. Liner notes by WFMU's Joe Belock. Glenn Mercer has fronted the Feelies since 1976, and his first solo album, 2007's Wheels in Motion, contains all of the familiar hallmarks of the band; frenetic percussion, jangly guitars, songwriting that channels Lou Reed. Written as a reunion record before the Feelies reunited (they had been on hiatus since 1992), Wheels in Motion flew in woefully under the radar. Originally released only on compact disc, many longtime Feelies fans aren't even aware of it's existence.
