With it's ebullient harmonies and fuzzed-out raga guitar motifs, The Lemon Drops' 'I Live in the Springtime' has long been acknowledged as a garage-psych classic. Although 'Springtime' was their only release, this suburban Chicago group was in and out of the studio throughout 1967 and '68, laying down various demos and tracks for a prototype album with the proposed title Sun shower Flower Power. This 180 gm vinyl LP presents 14 of those tracks (including 'Springtime'), beautifully remastered, with full liner notes and lots of cool pics. Includes six songs in versions previously unavailable on vinyl and two unreleased versions available for the first time: 'Flowers on the Hillside' and 'Dream.'" Limited edition 180 gram vinyl pressing of 600 copies.
