Limited foil-numbered, 150gm opaque violet vinyl LP pressing. A year after The Lords of the New Church's stellar debut LP came 1983's Is Nothing Sacred?. This release found the band diversifying their sound, be it funky pop goth as in the hit single, "Dance With Me" or Todd Rundgren's production and keyboards on their cover of the Grass Roots' classic, "Live For Today." Formed in 1982, the band comprised the punk pioneers Stiv Bators (The Dead Boys), Brian James (The Damned), Dave Tregunna (Sham 69) and Nick Turner (The Barracudas). The band recorded three studio albums and one live album before Bators ended the band onstage after a concert on 2 May 1989, at the London Astoria.
